| Hello everyone! I'm Doctor von Science, also known as PerC's resident INTP mad scientist. Appropriately, when I play Minecraft I either tinker around with redstone circuits or just build castles. Or combine them both into castles laced with puzzles and hidden passageways. I even built a self-building, self-repairing house once. Sure, it was just a cube, but still... | |

| I've seen a self-regenerating bridge, but a house? Sounds interesting anyways. I'd personally enjoy exploring one of your castles, being really interested in minecraft dungeons and the like myself. So welcome to the forum! c: | |

So welcome to the forum! c: I designed a self-repairing bridge first, but I don't know if it's the same as the one you saw. I assume it's the same principle, though. Cobblestone generator and repeating pistons and all that. A house works on the same design, only it pushes the finished cobblestone vertically instead of horizontally. When it gets to the end of a wall, another piston starts pushing blocks over to the next wall, and etc. If my laptop hadn't crashed I'd upload a video. I may build a new one when this server gets up, just for people to be able to see how it works. I will definitely be building a castle, though, with secret tunnels galore. | |
